Mode of Selection Process
The selection process for the UPSSSC Junior Engineer Agriculture consists of the following stages:
- PET 2025 Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for the main examination based on their normalized score in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025. UPSSSC will call candidates up to 15 times the number of category-wise vacancies (including all candidates tied at the cut-off score).
- Written Examination (Main Exam): Shortlisted candidates will appear for a single objective-type written examination.

The Main Written Examination will consist of a single objective-type paper with 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 Hours (120 Minutes). There is a negative marking of 25% (1/4th mark) for every incorrect answer.
