- Minimum Age: 18 Years (Standard NCTE guideline).

Mode of Selection Process
The CTET September 2026 selection process consists of a Written Examination format utilizing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs):
- Paper I: For candidates intending to teach Classes I to V.
- Paper II: For candidates intending to teach Classes VI to VIII.
- (Note: Candidates intending to teach both levels must appear for both papers).
- Qualifying Marks: A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass. Relaxation up to 5% is allowed for SC/ST/OBC/Differently-abled candidates as per extant reservation policies.
