  • Minimum Age: 18 Years.
  • Maximum Age: 23 Years.

Constable (General Duty) & Rifleman (GD)* Candidates must have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/University.* Educational Qualification must be acquired on or before the cut-off date (01-01-2026).* Candidates possessing NCC ‘C’, ‘B’, or ‘A’ certificates will get incentive/bonus marks (5%, 3%, and 2% respectively).

Mode of Selection Process

The recruitment process for SSC GD 2026 consists of the following stages in chronological order:

  • Computer Based Examination (CBE): Objective Type Paper (Answer Key Out).
  • Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Conducted for candidates who qualify the CBE.
  • Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME).
  • Document Verification (DV).
