SBI Junior Associate Recruitment 2026: Age Limit as on 01/04/2026

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years.
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years.
  • Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1998 and not later than 01.04.2006 (both days inclusive).
  • Age Relaxation Extra as per SBI Recruitment Rules: OBC gets 3 years, SC/ST gets 5 years, PwBD (OBC) gets 13 years, and PwBD (SC/ST) gets 15 years relaxation. Additional relaxations apply for Ex-Servicemen, Widows, Divorced women, and Trained Apprentices of SBI.

Mode of Selection Process

The selection process for the SBI Junior Associate 2026 consists of three main phases:

  • Phase I (Preliminary Examination): An online objective test of 100 marks. This is a qualifying stage to shortlist candidates for the Main exam.
  • Phase II (Main Examination): An online objective test of 200 marks. The final merit list will be prepared based purely on the aggregate marks obtained in this Phase.
  • Phase III (Local Language Proficiency Test): Conducted after the Main exam but before joining. Mandatory for candidates who did not study the opted local language in 10th or 12th standard. Failure to qualify will result in disqualification.
  • Document Verification & Medical Examination: Final appointment is subject to eligibility verification and medical fitness.
