RRB NTPC UG Recruitment 2026: Age Limit as on 01.01.2026

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years.
  • Maximum Age: 30 Years (For General/UR).
  • Age Relaxation Extra as per RRB Recruitment Rules: SC/ST candidates get 5 years (Max 35 Years), and OBC-NCL candidates get 3 years (Max 33 Years) age relaxation. PwBD candidates get 10 to 15 years of relaxation based on their category.

Mode of Selection Process

The selection process for RRB NTPC Under Graduate level posts involves the following sequential stages:

  • 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT): Common screening test for all notified posts.
  • 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT): Separate for each pay level. Candidates are shortlisted based on 1st CBT merit.
  • Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST): Qualifying nature (only for Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Clerk cum Typist). Requires 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi.
