Mode of Selection Process
The Rajasthan Combined Competitive Examination 2026 will be held in successive stages:
- Stage 1: Preliminary Examination: Objective Type (MCQ) Screening Test (200 Marks). Marks obtained in prelims are NOT counted towards the final merit list.
- Stage 2: Main Examination: Descriptive/Analytical Written Examination. Candidates approx. 15 times the total vacancies will be admitted to the Main Examination.
- Stage 3: Personality and Viva-voce (Interview): Carries 100 marks. Candidate’s character, personality, address, physique, and knowledge of Rajasthani culture are assessed. (NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders receive preference for Rajasthan Police Service).
- Stage 4: Document Verification & Medical Examination. Final Merit is based on combined Main Exam and Interview marks.

- Important Rules for Prelims (OMR Based):
- There will be 5 options (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) for every question.
- It is mandatory to darken exactly ONE circle using a Blue Ball Point Pen.
- If you choose not to attempt a question, you MUST darken the 5th option circle.
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted for a wrong answer OR if no bubble is filled.
- Disqualification: If a candidate fails to darken ANY of the 5 circles in more than 10% of the questions, they shall be disqualified. An extra 10 minutes are provided to verify all bubbles are filled.
