Instructions for Students/Parents & Colleges on MahaDBT 2.0
Tasks for Students (अ) विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी करावयाची कार्ये:
- Creating New Maha ID: It is mandatory for all students to create a new Maha ID. Old User IDs/Passwords from previous portals will not work.
- Aadhaar-based Registration: Create the new Maha ID using your Aadhaar number. Keep your profile details (address, mobile number, email ID, bank account) accurate and updated on the portal.
- Document Compilation: Upload necessary documents (Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Educational Marksheets, etc.) in clear PDF format.
- New and Renewal Applications: Whether applying fresh or for renewal, login must be done using the new Maha ID/Aadhaar. For renewals, select the specific tab “Renew My Application” after logging in.
Tasks for Colleges (ब) महाविद्यालयाने करावयाची कार्ये:
- Single Login (Principal Login): Only one login will be available for colleges, directly belonging to the Principal (Clerk login is completely closed). Contact the respective educational department for login/password issues.
- Profile & Fee Structure: Login with the new Maha ID and default password, check the profile, and immediately update the fee structure approved by the relevant fee regulatory authority.
- Principal’s Responsibility: Eligible students’ applications should not remain pending under any circumstances. The Principal is fully responsible for forwarding approved applications within the stipulated time.
- Pre-Matric Schemes: Headmasters of schools where eligible students are studying should coordinate with the concerned Block Education Officer (BEO) to assist in filling out online applications.
